Default 1750 All Comer Space Marines

March Madness coming, wrote up a nice 1750 list, whadya think guys?

HQ Pedro Kantor with Five Honor Guard in a Razorback with a TL Assault Cannon

Ten Tactical Marines with a Flamer, M. Bombs, and a Power fist in a LAnd Raider Redeemer with a M.Melta and a HK missile

Ten Tactical Marines with a Plasma Gun, M. Launcher, and M. Bombs

Ten Tactical Marines with a Meltagun, M. Launcher, and M. Bombs

Predator with a TL Lascannon and Heavy Bolter Side Sponsons and a HK Missile

Devo Squad with Three Heavy Bolters and a PLasma Cannon

Venerable Dreadnought with an Assault Cannon and Extra Armor


Now what I fear is that I have no fast attack, should I get rid of the Redeemer for a full assault squad with some boosts and then fill the rest for meat shields in the devo squad? Any suggestions?

I personally rarely use fast attack, it only has use at certain times.

A couple of questions:

1. The "crossed" load-outs on Devs and Pred. Can I ask your reasoning? My understanding is that you should aim for a single weapon type in order to maximise their role. Due to anti-Hoarde/TEQ/Armour roles, one unit, one role.

2. You can compensate for lack of Fast units by throwing in another Rhino or Drop pod. Drop Pod Dreadnaughts always cause a stir! ;D

Well I'm using models that I own, so my anti infantry Devo's can have at max 3 Heavy Bolters and a Plasma Cannon to be my kind of style of anti infantry. On the predator, it's basically able to get high toughness targets, while still effective against infantry if need be.

Again, I am using models I own, so I don't have another rhino or drop pod XD
