I've recently come in to a bit of money and I'm thinking about doing an Attack Bike army, something I've wanted to do for ages. Although I want to do it now because it should be quite quick and easy to complete. Heres the list I was thinking of -

Attack Bike X 3; 150
Heavy Bolters.

Attack Bike X 3;150
Heavy Bolters.

Attack Bike X 3;195
Multi Meltas.

5 Marines; 100
Plasma Gun,
Lascannon,

Razorback; 70
Heavy Bolter.

6 Marines; 155
Plasma Gun,
Lascannon,
Sarg -
Powerfist,
Plasma Pistol.

Razorback; 70
Heavy Bolter.

Captain; ?
Power Weapon,
Plasma Pistol.

1000 Points. [ish]

8 Heavy Bolters,
2 Lascannon,
2 Plasma Guns,
3 Multi Meltas.

9 Bikes,
12 Infantry,
2 Tanks.

I dont have my Codex at the moment and havent had it for a while [lent it to a mate], so the points may be off. But do you think it would be even remotely competative. It's mainly as a 'fun' army. I've got the fluff for them somewhere I think, or at least the start of an Index Astartes article.

I'd need 7 Attack Bikes, the Razorbacks [Ive got some unmade Rhinos but I want them for my Arbites] and the Captain. All together it would be about £135. Which isn't too bad for a 1000 point army these days.

I think if i was to expand the army I'd put in a few Las/Heavy Bolter Preds and another Razorback Squad.

I think he's 90 points as a Captain or 105 as a Master. Sounds cool, and is a pretty unique army idea.

nice though not to much in the way of tankbusting, btw i take it your using codex space marines in which case captains (without any gear) are 60 points, masters are 75 and a bike is 30 points so the guy who sed captain 90 and master 105 is right.
