Default 1500 pt all-jump pack BA

Hi all, here's a BA list I recently put together:

Chaplain- jump pack- 120
7 Death Company- jump packs- 45 (is this right?)
9 Veteran Assault Marines- 2 thunder hammers- 310
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165
5 Assault Marines- Sgt w. power fist- 165

Total: 1455 (I think)
Models: 47

The strategy behind this army is simple: everyone flies forwards and gets stuck in (initiating combo-charges on tough opponents whenever possible). Any thoughts?

Well, if I was an opponent I would be very happy to gun down each one of them. Since your list have not the anti-tank capabilities, I need not worry about it.

You might argue that the rending, thunder hammers and also the powerfist is your anti-tank, but other than that your anti=-tank capabilities need to be very, very close for it to do anthing. In face of an extremely mobile army, or a very shooty army, you are in for a nasty surprise. Marines are durable, but facing a voolley of shots will more often than not rip you apart. Either that or they will end up chasing targets that will not bother to come close to them.

But sayingf that, your list is pretty fast, but that will be saving grace of the list.

True enough: I'm contemplating using the remaining 45 pts to stock up on combi-meltas, plasma pistols and the like. That said, though, the enemy will have a multitude of different units (8, to be exact) to shoot at, and they'll only have so much shooting time before the Blood Angels close in on them. If the enemy focuses fire on my two big squads, then they'll have lots and lots of smaller Assault Squads to worry about.

Those Assault Marine squads don't have enough marines, you're going to get shot at and most of them are either going to be killed or reduced to the point of inefficiency... You also lack an Anti-tank element, except for your power fists which are kinda ineffective if you're dead...

Why not split the veteran squad into two smaller ones? Same point costs adn you get an extra death company marine.

Anti tank will be a problem for any list of this type, one potential solution is Attack bikes.

Free up 300 points and take 3 units of 2 each with multi meltas, they'll have your opponent ripping his hair out in frusturation.
