Looking good

The photos need to be a bit lighter- you cant really see much in the dark, unless you are a Tyranid....

Either take them outside, at midday on a sunny day, or in a well lit room with a desk lamp or similar focused on the model.

Anyway, cool colours, from what I can see

Very nice looking, good contrast in the paintscheme. The one on the left seems to have a tacky paintjob on the PR and FB, is that supposed to be weathering or heat scarring?

Re: First Battlesuits

:( heat scaring, its the first time i tried it and probably be the last untill i learn how to do a better job, now its been removed with a nice neat coat of gun metal silver and shadow gray

I actually wasn't complaining, for heat scarring its a very good effect.

Re: First Battlesuits

Very nice i hope that my first crisis battlesuits turn out just as good (i doubt it)

Re: First Battlesuits

thanks, and don't doubt yourself

all i do is
take things slowly
have regular brakes
Use a few thin coats instead of one think coat
and touch up the mistakes to make it neat

i haven't tried high lighting the out lines of the suit as i don't know how do it
(any tips would be appreciated)

I'm working om my crisis suits too... man maybe i can make good crisis. Hopefully i can. Good job. Though it looks like u need a few highlights on it. U can't drybrush easily on that i don't think, so u just have to get a lighter color (1:1 Shadow gray/white maybe, can't tell what u used) on the edges. Someone else fill in this pothole. Oh, hint on taking pics, don't turn on the flash, it gets messy.
