Yeah, the pole for some reason likes being bent, i'll see if i can photograph it with a straighter pole.

Looks great overall, BUT.
The hood needs another layer of orange so keep the colour even. And, trim down the size of the picture so we get an honest view of it. Now we can see all the details normally not seen.

The hood is actually yellow with orange diamonds on top of it.
The picture is a little oversized (it looks about as big as a Stompa or Warhound Titan), i'll have a go at shrinking it. |

And I think there is one colour to much on the model. The green sash is abit to much for the eye to handle. I would go for one of your other major colours on the sash. Further notice. Is the base done? I personally think that a base with some terrain, simple as dirt/grass, will improve the overall model alot. Thats something to think about before posting a picture also. Sure one should focus on the model, but still the overall impression will still have effect. ¨ Dont get me wrong now, I do like the paintjob, but people tend to forget to give som constructive critique. As if its a bad thing to do.

Constructive Critisiscm is what most people are wanting (including me) when they post something in these forums but often that isn't what they get.
I'll get a picture up of it after i give it a little improvement/shrinking. |

I'll be checking in later then. Because I do think this model is much greater when its viewed in a smaller size and given a base

I've never really spent much attention on producing bases but maybe i'll put a little effort into this one.

Simple drit/sand mixed with some random larger stones (preferable slate stones). If you have a look on my models, Starship troopers and Tau models, they all have very simple bases (specially the Starship troopers). Basically all you need to do is: 1. PVA glue the base 2. Sink the base into a jar (or similar) with sand+smaller stones (if you want larger ones, add them before sinking the whole base) 3. Once dryed, paint black (easier if modeil is not painted yet, then its just spray it all) 4. Drybrush with a main colour 5. Drybrush with a mix of main plus a brighter colour 6. Drybhrush some special areas with a final brighter colour. 7. Add static grass and other things if needed. This process takes as I said around 3 minutes.
