[Deathwing Dude]

A few weeks ago I wanted to know what parts the termie chap came in, so I could use it for my own creation. Well here is the result, using parts from 3 kits and a little forgeworld, hope you like it

I think the crux terminatus on the shoulder could do with being a lighter grey to contrast more with the black.

But otherwise, that thing is great.

dude, that is awsome. i think i suits the chaplain a lot better the the storm bolter. as was said earlier though, maybe a bit more grey on the crux, try a silver dry brush it will really bring out the detail in the crux. oh, and maybe some more stuff to mark him as crimson fists.

That chaplain is looking badass!
I like the shield on him and its overall good painting.

I think theres plenty to show that his a crimson fist though, you don't need anything more then a shoulder in my opinion.

Nice clean job. I'd bring out the highlights a little further as it's quite a dark model in general. The red on the fist and some other areas would look nice with a blood red highlight and an extreme highlight of blood red/bronzed flesh and the grey on the opposite shoulder could do with a lighter grey work up. But it looks good as it is, so that's just up to your own preference.

Thanks for the comments people. A couple of you said bout the highlights, there a a few on the model, but as you can see I didn't go very far with them, mainly just because I wanted to get it done. I agree with the red on the fists emblem, I usually do this, but was just lazy on this occasion. I will add some when I have another painting session, but this model was mainly about having an idea in my head and creating a unique character to lead some Termies into battle.

In case any space marine players are going to jump in and say... Chaplains aren't allowed storm shields, I know . I'm just going to use him as a count as normal termie Chaplain, I may add the commanders storm bolter to his belt in the future as it has a strap just to make it more realistic.

I agree with the others on the highlights. Excellent model and great paintjob, but some areas could use a little more work to make them stand out better. The Crimson Fist logo and the Cruz Terminatus in particular.

Aside from that, fantastic job. That's an awesome conversion. ;D
