Default AoBR Dreadnaught

Finished my dreadnaught today, there's a couple of little mistakes, but overall I think i'm happy with it.

C&C welcome.

C&C welcome, If you're wondering Dixi is not my favourite brand of musical noise, but a latin phrase wikipedia tells me means "I have spoken".

Is the green paint a mixed batch? its a very nice model overall, personally, i feel it could use some "its been used in WAR" look to it, like exhaust residue from the stacks or burn marks at the ends of the multimelta. all in all, a very nice model ;D ;D

.....does it say "DIXI" on the leg? I find that hilarious...

Nicely done, but it does feel too clean. Maybe an inkwash or something? Even just a little on the metal (read as 'shiney&#39 parts would look good.

hehe, it does say dixi, as mentioned above wikipedia tells me this means "I have spoken" in latin. Plus it's an amusing phrase to whack on there.

In terms of the metals, all the metal parts already have badab black washes on. But I like to leave the gold parts pretty shiny, I think it a) gives a nice contrast to the dark green, b) looks like a well looked after but old suit of armour.

thanks for the comments though

I'm loving the different colored tubes. It definitely gives that whole Imperium "yeah, we don't really know how it works, but this is how you make it" feel.

Hey
Nice model, it something to be proud of.
I agree with, I enjoy the contrasting shiny gold to the darker green.
And i find dixi hilarious.
Keep it up!

Great work on the Dreadnought Jonagon I like the burn effect on the Melta, looks like as if it's been used a lot.
