Ok he's at a point where I can class him as finished, still a few things I want to do maybe,

Flesh was intended to be a dark red.. but ended up pinky.. not totally happy with his back or flesh in general but he'll do, been a very very long time since I painted a large model with flesh, too used to power armour!

I think it looks good. The flesh certainly has a red tone and doesn't look pink. Before I read your comments, my first thought was "nice flesh". So I say keep it. The metal is well done but a little boring. Maybe some rust or picking out the rivets might be in order. You could also try painting up the scales on his back to be a little darker red. That might help you achieve the depth of color you're looking for without repainting the whole model.

Good job overall, though.

I think you did a great job! The teeth look awesome, I also like the armour, I don't find it boring, you highlighted it perfectly, very realistic. As far as the skin goes, I say keep it too. You may find the model looks a lot better after you base it. The only suggestion I can make it to maybe put some white hands on the shield or helmet. You don't have to but I think it might look cool.

Anyway, great work as usual.

I like the flesh as well, I think it is a nice step away from the norm. The metal is well done, really does look like it was made by evil crazed kobolds. It is uniform though, but hey, orcs don't care if it looks good.

I bought this mini when it came out last year and haven't even opened the box. You may have inspired me to have a look at it........maybe :-\

cheers

It's not easy is it?

Aside from that - my comments mirror that of FE.

I think it's pretty great tbh.

Other than a couple of little bits of red on the edges of the armour, I have no comments. I don't think the armour is lacking detail, I like it subtle like that.

Good stuff
