they dont look as good in this photo as in real lifer unfortunately

sorry, but death merchant is kinda right...they are a little sloppy...but we're all pretty piss-poor when we start out (unless there's some unnaturally talented bugger round here who sold his soul to the devil at age one). just get a bit of practice in at being somewhat neater and get a few more layers on the areas where the undercoat shows through

Yeah, it looks like the paints you are using have been watered down to much.
But, off to a nice start

Im no golden daemon winning painter so don't like to pass judgment...but I will ;D

Good job for a newbie but id say paints too thin/need another coat and if you do a good job on the bases then it'll make the whole squad look twice as good.

All in all id have been happy with that when id only been painting a year and a half

when i was in a year and a half my models were almost the exacpt same. just keep practicing(for 7 years) and you'll e golden demon material in no time. ;D

it does look like the paint was watered down a bit too much, if i were you i'd do another coat on the face and cloth areas. but other than that good job. i like the blades, look battle worn

i haven't been painting for very long and i am pretty good( last easter to be exact) then again my dad did teach me how to do things

From personal experience, models always look worse when in a photo.
