Default Emperors Beacons

This is a custom chapter that I had submitted a long time ago on here for input, and ever since I came in third in a recent tourney, I got my hands on some Space marine models. So I wanted to pick up my DIY chapter again, only this time I have pictures! These models are from the three space marine filler box, all snap together.

The pictures picked up some detailing I missed, and for not showcasing in almost the entire three years I've been here I hope you enjoy!

I always said you were the best painter of our group, and I think I just cried.... that is amazing man. My one qualm is the gun color, I don't know what other color would go well with them, but the same as the armor?

These look good. I assume they were dry-brushed in a similar manner as one would drybrush Dark Angels? And I really like the scheme.

The only things are I think the eyes could use a lighter highlight, and the metal on the bolter needs a touch-up (the aquila on left, above the magazine on right).

Thanks! This is how I painted these guys

I primed them all with midnight blue, then dry brushed the whole thing with ultra marine blue, then painted the metal and reds, and the purity seal, and then i ink washed with a watered down chestnut ink and then dry brushed again after it was dry, then touched up once again all the metal and reds. And yeah a few places I need to redo, like the edges of some metallic places and I'm not totally sure how I should highlight the eyes and such.

Hmm... chestnut. Looks good.

Well what color did you paint the eyes? I normally just go one shade lighter.

The eyes, lens, and shoulder pad are all red gore, so I could highlight with blood red, thanks.

I think they look great just wondering how long did they take roughly?

Umm, I'd have to say each model took me about twenty minutes, not counting ink or base drying time. It's just a series of dry brushes and inks, and a steady hand.
