Looks mega (from what we can see of him). Why did you get rid of the flames on the blade though? Did they not come out right?

I think the thick black lining isn't doing the emperor many favours. I mean he is mean't to be the light of the Imperium.

The style and feel comes across as pure evil, not humanities saviour. I think less shadows and lighter colours would help.

He looks superb, but I agree with Gareth, he does need a bit more brightening up.

Nice updated picture. I think it needs some light highlights and a gold wash on top of that as like said before the light of mankind isnt showing.

But yeah a picture of him next to a normal marine or guard model painted would be sweet.

The black-lining feels a bit overdone, and darkens the whole model. The gold is fantastic, however; the black is a very severe contrast. It's an amazing sculpt, first green stuff attempt or not. You have a gift for green stuffing, for sure.

Very nice gold work, but I's suggest a slightly thick wash of Brown Ink into the recesses to make it look slightly less balck, because it doens't really work well with a big model like this.
