The mind numbingly boring, original flamer for the suits just does not do it for me. So i attached the hurty looking one from the Sentinal. On the Sentinal, I modified the foot so it didnt look so stiff. It's a small job, but damned fiddly. Well worth the fiddle though.

They look very good, but the flamer on the suit is clearly Imperial: couldn't you make it more...Tauish?

I see your point...Any suggestions? I was thinking perhaps, covering the middle part (where the flamer attaches to the arm). And painting good ol vomit brown.

Possiblt take the end of the fusion blaster and replace the flamer end.

Is the Sentinel supposed to be converted? Or just an ordinary sentinel. I love the pose; so widley used yet so effective. I love the battlesuit. How about you add like a tau-ish looking panel onto the part of the flamer which is attached to the hand; like a tau shoulderpad or something?

The foot of the Sentinel is. I lopped the 'toes' off and glued them on to look as if they have dropped some.
As for the flamer suggestion. Thats what I was thinking of. Maybe a flatter panel to tie in with all the other armaments the Tau employ.

Looks pretty good overall. I like the flamer especially, but it looks a tad imperial for the Tau. Still, good idea.

This should probably go in the "conversions" section - still, nice work. That Sentinel foot looks ace. Definately doing that on my next Sentinel - hopefully it'll turn out better than the first one did *shudder*...anyway, looks good. As for Tau-ifying the Flamer, how about adding one of the plastic fueltanks from the Tau one to it? Also, consider painting the metal bits in black, as opposed to metal - Tau don't tend to use metallics on their weapons a lot, preferring a sort of matt military black.
