Faces.
Base with a white basecoat. Too late for that hear.
Wash with thinned out shorched earth. Make sure all the crevases are filled.
Let it dry, then repeat, only with snake bite leather.
And one final wash of tanned flesh.
Think you're done?
Oh no, far from it.
Layer (dry brushing works well, just have to do it several times to cover the face.) dwarf flesh over the washes, on the risen parts only, so leave the crevases alone.
Highlight with elf flesh and you're good.

Look good but they need some work. I think the on the bases the grass is way to green and looks like a field for sports. The faces also need work. I would maybe second mothman.

Great job, the only thing I would do is put another coat on some of the boots, as they are a bit thin. And the way I do skin is:
Black undercoat
Dwarf flesh
Flesh Wash ink 1/1 ink/water
Highlight with Elf flesh
Fleshwash ink 1/2 ink/water

The proportion of the inks may be a bit off, but its fairly simple to eye-ball. Mothman's scheme probably turns out better, but this is really quick and uses black undercoat.

Those are great. The highlighting of their fatigues is really good, especially for your first squad.

The faces could certainly use work. A simple 2-3 color layering can do wonders.

To get an effective looking face dwarf flesh, drybrush Dwarf flesh mixed with white over it then a touch of very watered black ink.

a simple brown or chestnut ink wash would make the facial details stand out better. otherwise they look very good. simple and effective

You guys get all complicated with your flesh, it's crazy talk I tell you!

A quick wash of Flesh Ink over a nice solid coat of Dwarf Flesh or even the Flesh Foundation paint (Someone remind me the name?) is all I usually do.
