Default Pathfinder Devilfish

This is my best vehicle so far, probably my best model too. Any suggestions about how I could make it better?

Its not quite finished yet but I didn't want to risk the wrath of the painting forums mod, as this looks suspiciously like a finished model.
Thanks, Aun Le'Keth

Looks very good to get the decals to not look like some Fio tech just taped them on use a gloss coat like future floor wax on your model then apply the decals and when all finished give it several good thin coats of a matte sealer and boom nice looking decals.

You also have some gaps too.. those are very frustrating to try and remove but I think there is something called squadron putty use to fil gaps in model tanks and planes that should do the job.

I like the camo job you've done and you've highlighted also (someting I've yet to attempt save for a few models)

Excellent work, especially on the highlights (I never seem to get them right on vehicles...).

The gold/metallic colours don`t do it for me, but that`s just me.

Also, to counter the "add-on" look of decals, I found washing them with ink takes care of this, though you end up with slightly unclear decals - which is not bad if you want a wheathered tank. In your case, heeding Faols advice may be better (tough I`ve never tried it).

Cheers,
-Bone

I've tried it at the suggestion of a member on the ATT forums it works...rather well too plus the future floor wax act as good protective coat too

I'm not sure I'll think about it and then decide which to try, I like both ideas but I'm leaning toward the ink wash just because it sounds easier. As for the metal bits, I think they add points of interest to the model, otherwise it might look a bit... boring?

Thanks Aun Le'Keth
