Default Imperial Guard Sentinels

Here are my two Sentinels. One of my brothers bought me the Cadian Pattern for Christmas, and my sister the Armageddon Pattern the same day.

I'm a pretty lucky guy!

Thanks, and tell me what you think!

Looking rugged and looking good it has a very dark gritty look which suits the 40k universe

Thanks! I painted the Cadian one first, and it didn't have the ink to begin with. But it looked too clean, so I added scratches and ink, and I think it looks a bit better now.

Looks amazing. I love how you make your models look slightly cartoony/looks great from a distance.

Fear not, Stankov; he does mean that in a good way. You have an 'extreme' style of painting that really stands out on the tabletop. I like it too.

Personally, I think you may have gone a little overboard with the rust streaks here, but they looks great nonetheless. I particularly like the freehand ace of spades.

You know, a lot of people have said that... is it the blacklining?
Meh, I like how it looks...

Thanks, Tom

I was shooting for the 'rusty hunk of crap' look because these guys, in some fluff terms, are considered PDF, or at least part of an infantry unit. Therefore, they won't have such great facilities and upkeep, as well as spanking new equipment.

Although, I'll agree with you, I think I went a little too far...

Thanks everybody!

With what Tom said aside, I can say they look pretty good. How many more do you plan on adding to the squadron?
