Default My first detailed Librarian!

And here are pics of my new Librarian!

I tried my best to put nice detail in there.. even made up the base too! Too bad I'm much much older than 16, or I'd put this in the contest for youngbloods.... :P

It looks good, but I'd suggest that you take the model out into the sun and take pictures of it there. That way you have more outside source lighting and it doesn't glare as much.

From what I can see though, with the acception of the metals I love it.

But the Metals look just a tad too shiny for my liking, considering the darkness of the rest of the model.

Psh, it sucks. why do you even try!? :P

anyway, I like it...but, how about some darker drybrushing on the metals to make it more 'dark n' brooding' like LT said.

You leave that force weapon handle alone! That i seriously love.

The blue coth looks really well done too.

Not a fan of the purple but it works.

the weapons aren't being touched.. only the other metal paints will be inked/drybrushed with black...
I chose the purple for a royal feel... and the armor itself is actually midnight blue...interesting how midnight blue looks purplish.. and if a flash hits it (if it's painted on a white base), it turns smurf blue in the pic.. lol

I didn't notice that the Force Weapon handle was metallics, looked like some kind of really nice and light brown color with intensive highlighting on the sides :P

Anyways, on your gold I would suggest a wash of chestnut ink, and then a coat of Tin Bitz followed by another coat of shining gold, works miracles on my gold pieces ^_^

a light coat... so it brings out a little of the tin bitz too...

Maybe a little blending on the armour. Add a small amount of commando khaki to the purple. as white will make it come out like a bluish pink. And for some reason the white pages look great too. I usually hate white pages

And im not sure as to why a libby would be standing beside a pile of loyalist heads?
