How did those goblins carve a skull into the shape of a moon? :-\

Great painting as always Gareth! Good to see something new!

yeah yellow is a fav colour of mine, so i always spend extra time getting it right with a decent base layer of white.

Great job. Your layering is very clean and subtle...the paint job is just very clean. You do incredible with the yellow, a color I'm still working on doing well. You said a decent base layer of white, do you prime in gray and then paint up the to-be-yellow areas white before applying yellow?

Yellow is a fav color I thought it would have been red by the way you paint it

Black undercoat. Several layers of watered down white. Lots of people have cheats for painting yellow, but you can't beat the brightness of a decent white base coat imo.

Tis true, I have 2 red armies. Nids and Blood Angels. But i still love yellow. I'm workinf on some orcs soon. Want yellow banners, and yellow glyphs on the armour. Should look a little different, and should compliment the brown tunics and boots etc I have planned.
