Looks great and very orky... The only faults i can pick up are that you have a red tipped bullet (paint from the cloth) and a slightly green chain.

nice all around, expect that red-paint on the choppa. For blood, test mixing in some Dark Flesh into your Blood Red. Makes an excellent bloodcolor

Reunion_Round: thanks for the notices on the things I missed I'll fix that stuff tonight

Warwolt the engineer: thanks for the advice I personaly am happy with the way the blood is at the moment (red gore +blood red highlight) I'll try what you said on one of my other orks to see how it turns out ^-^.

Very nice ork as for the blood I agree the red gore +blood red highlight makes it look like paint
You can also try thinned down red/chestnut ink or red/brown ink

Very good for your first inking session

Did you thin them down?

Looks good.
One thing I would recommend would be a little drybrush of goblin green, then a small highlight of
mixed 70/40 bone white/goblin green.
It gives a good colour of the skin.
(Also, do the fingernails )

And the blood loks good. I use quite "cartoony" blood for my orks. (brightly red)

What I usually do is to put a thick layer of red gore to outline the "bloody" area, then go over with
some blood red, while leaving the red gore 1mm or so at the back.

Hmm.. I thought you gave yourself a tattoo of an Ork.. I wanted to see that!

Seriously though, great work on the Ink's, you have a good grasp how to use them properly.. As for the other observations, I would also agree that some minor touchups to the paint spots would be helpful to the over all model.

But the Ink work is great

Looks good.

Seems everyone has covered what I'd have said. I use inks for most everything on my Orks and I love them. They are great at making things look dirty and weathered but also just for giving some easy shading. When I work on my troops, you know how many models are involved there, I rely on inking for my shadowing and bringing out the small details to speed up the painting process.
