So I got my first Armored Company vehicle painted a few days ago, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed by my own work(which has never happened before :P). The camo scheme looks great with the way I decided to do it, and I changed it a tweak from how I originally intended.

I haven't painted the unit markings or some of the details yet, but I more or less just wanted to show off the just of it.

As always, C&C is always welcome and wanted.

Nice job on the camo. I really likethe pattern.

Only thing I have to criticise: The drybrushed metal parts. While it looks good on the tracks andd grills, it really looks slopppy on the heavy bolter and the flamer itself.

Try he following: Take some black Ink, water it down, and then shade the metal parts. Then take boltgun metal (or chainmail, if you like it brighter) and add some highlights manualy (no drybrushing though!) to the weapons.

And perhaps paint the part of the turret weapon that interlocks with the turret in the same colour as the hull. Then the parts will optically "blend together" some more.

Ah, that's what I'm looking for! Criticism! I honestly did not know what to do with the Heavy Bolter, and I do agree it does look sloppy. I plan to add a "used" effect to the flamer though. Not 100% on how to go about it, but I have a few ideas.

I'll definitely take these thoughts into account whilst painting the details on it! Thanks!

Gada, you need to update your 'niddies if you can paint this well! :P

I love the nice clean lines on the camo; howdja do it?

Few things though:
-The little viewing hole thing could do with a blob of 'ardcoat
-To paint the metal up a bit better, do what Trogdor said, but don't water down the black ink. Paint the entier thing straight Boltgun Metal, do an un-watered down Black Ink, And work your way up with multiple drybrushes of the usual metallical shading colour dealies.
-Be sure to pick out all the rivits with a tiny dot of silver.
-For the "used" marks on the flamer, here's what I do:
-Overbrush Bestial Brown
-Drybrush Scorched Brown, leaving a bit of Bestial farthest away
-Drybrush Chaos Black at the tip, both colours showing.

Well, I just worked on the turret. I used brown ink(which worked like a charm) for the used flamer marks. And I watered down the black ink just a tad. I think overall it looks much better than before. I also added a ring of Shining Gold to give it a bit of color to it, other than just grey and silver(I also went with even more watered down black ink over this. I wanted a pretty look, but I wanted it to look a bit used).

I'll get some pics up in a few minutes of the turret.
