Default Lord-General Nikolas Surovi (Chenkov)

This handsome fellow here is Nikolas Surovi, commander-in-cheif of the XVth Funestans, and his pet chicken and regimental mascot, Edna. I'm entering him into a painting comp on the 7th, so C&C is very much welcome. By the way, I've gone over the black bits of the cloak since this was taken.

Fantastic job on the robe and face, but the base just seems a little too plain to me. Maybe throw some dry brush effects on the base, or perhaps some rocks or destruction.

That's looking real nice, I was a bit confused about the green-red thing on his shoulder, I thought 'the strangest parrot in the world'. I like how the fur is looking on the robe/coat.
That base, if that's snow, you could always make a few footprints in it.

It's a chicken, it says in the first post. You may have gathered by now that I like chickens

I know it's chicken, but I saw the pic before I read. And yes, I had noticed such a thing like 'chicken affection'
Weird question, but... does the real model have one too? Or is that converted?

Great work! Chickens bring back bad memories of my trip to the Tomb of the Kings in Cyrus, the tombs were home to hundreds of them, crap all over EVERYTHING :'(
Well done anyway.

Gosh, dedication... Do more of your models have a chicken-mascot?

Ineluki - not yet, but I have plans...

Dementia - It's Captain Chenkov, an old Valhallan special character. Valhallans just use vanilla commissars, if I remember rightly. Glad you all like him.
