Default Junior Officer

Painted for one of my younger brothers mates.

Unfortunately the light has killed the highlights on the armour (which I'm fairly proud of) and the combats (which are incredibly light, even under bright natural light) so you'll have to wait till I get some decent photos for that :P
Skintones on this one weren't bad for me (I'm exceptionally poor with flesh coverage) I also had a bash at the eyes for once, and again, I'm fairly pleased with them

Not based, as per request

It looks better when you can properly see the highlights, I swear :P
C & C appreciated

I don't think it was bad for the £3.50 I asked for :P

It looks really good man. I can't believe you're selling it.

Again, I apologise muchly for the picture quality
The eyes also don't come out too well - they come up quite well IRL

I'm not technically selling it - the lad who I painted it for gave us £3.50 (all I asked for - it came out a little better than I expected) which is about $7-8 US before I painted him up.

And I've looked - the highlights on the combats are nonexistant in these photos

@ Matt: I have an abhorence of washes
I usually wash metals in watered down Chaos Black, but apart from that I don't do much, mainly because I don't find they come out too well.
I'm tempted to try and ink-line the jacket seam though

Nice. Just needs a base to top it off.

@ Red Dog - yeah, the pose is stock I've got a couple more, just not painted in that scheme, and to nowhere near the same standard - expect to see them on eBay in the coming months :P Unfortunately the young lad came and got it yesterday, before I rehighlighted the armour or got any decent photos :P

@ Echo - if he decides to base it (I don't think he's based his other Guard) then I'll get you a photo

Looks great! The cloth looks superb, the highlights must be very well applied.

I would see about maybe darkening the teeth a little. It may just be the flash of a camera, but it seems he looks more like a walking toothpaste-model in the third photo than a grizzled veteran

Aside from that, it appears to be, well... perfect!

Well Done!
