Default "finished" Haemonculus

After taking these pictures and looking at them, and then comparing them to the model, I feel a tad disappointed with it, and might have to go over everything again :P I watered down my paints and everything, and I only wanted it to a clean-ish gaming standard so I didn't put an inordinant amount of work into it. I must say that I am proud of the face though!

looks alright from all of the back and side shots, but get looks to muddled on the front, like there was heaps of detail tah you just went over... well good luck if you try to redo him...

The face is good though, all in all, nice job

Some of the shading on the face is nice.

hmm... another reminder of how much I dislike the Haemonculous models...

The painting is good, I just don't like the sculpt. Seriously, what's with the buck teeth?

Hmmm.... Not bad, but you need to highlight the purple cloth a lighter colour of Purple! It looks bland, so a bit of highlighting wouldn't go amiss.

Argh...
I never get over one of those frying 12 of my Kroot uin one go. >
(yeah, yeah...I packed them too tight...)
But quite a good paintjob.
But some washes would make it even better.

I need to find a purple that is good for highlighting "Midnight Blue" first. any suggestions?

The face was done with a pretty good diluted Black Ink Wash (I did it subconciously actually...before I realized what I was doing, I was done).

And Buckteeth because he doesn't need to look really handsome in the First Place...

I like him, you just need to highlight the purple armor.

For highlighting maybe... hmmm, little bit of lich purple and midnight blue.

Edit: lol i just noticed those spikes were a piece of sprue Nice work on using the materials at hand

2nd edit: wait a second are they?

yeah, the spikes are from a bit of the sprue (and, if luck holds, you get to see my intuitive Reaver "conversions" using sprue :P). Liche purple doesnt work as a highlight unfortunately, as when I highlighted (tried) doing it, it sorta looked just like midnight blue!

Maybe you could ink down the metal on his front. His clothes themselves look pretty good, particularly the robe part, but it looks like some details were washed over by the silver. The back and sides do look very nice.
