By the way, I got the idea for eyes on their wings from those butterflys that have eyes on their wings to scare away predators.

Stealth suit:

Hammerhead:

Please tell me what you think. (I will add some pictures of fire warriors and my Battlesuits in a while.)

Love The kroot the hammerhead and the suit (commander?). Great work, battle-damage is top-notch

Oops...looks like you made the same mistake I made with adjusting the Crisis Battlesuit's lower leg.

I really like everything except for the stealth suit. You're a brave man to paint it yellow but it just doesn't work for me. The vespid are my favorite. I love the skin color you chose. Really nice.

Thanks for all the Feedback.

I can't decide if I like the stealth suit myself, but I wanted to try something different, so I used camo green as the base and rotting flesh for the raised armour plates. It does not look as yellow in real life. This was my first one and because I tried about three different colour schemes before I settled on this one, it is more blotchy than the other ones (they are almost finished, I will put a pic up of one of them when they are done). As I said, I really can't decide if I like the colour or not.

Nicely spotted NeoHunter, the lower leg on my Shas'el is indeed put on backwards, that was the easiest way to get the angle that I wanted.

On my hammerhead, it is not really battle damage. I decided that it would be cool if it looked like a mortar had exploded nearby, showering the tank with bits of mud.

As for the Vespid, the yellow eyes on the wings was originally part of some fluff that I wrote. Because of how fast their wings move, it is impossible to see the markings, but if they stopped their wings for a brief moment, it would look like a huge pair of eyes suddenly appeared right near you. The practice of painting the eyes started in one of the vespid "clans", where some teenagers decided to use it as a prank, scaring some of the older vespid, however, it soon became part of that clans warpaint. I thought the idea of some IG sentries sitting around their watchpost at night when suddenly a huge monster appered right next to them, making them pee their pants and bolt in the opposite direction was rather amusing.

I will post some more pictures when my camera's battery is finished recharging.
