Default Tau Sniper Drone Team

Erm...don't know what I want to say here really. Erm...here is my completed Tau Sniper Drone Team. Painted with Dark Angels Green as the base colour. Similar in colour scheme to the Stealth Suits you see in my avatar and signature. Basically because both units have the Stealth Field Generator. So, I wanted to give them a sense of dark and stealthy.

Comments are welcomed.

Beautiful Neohunter.

I love the freehand Tau design. It really 'Tauify' the model. The dark green is highlighted in a balanced standard which makes it very interesting.

Great job.

Yub. My Tau Cadre was painted in this colour scheme with forests in mind. Only those units with Stealth Field Generators are painted in a darker green colour.

Thanks Komrad. These models were meant to be entered into the Heavy Support Competition in the Contests section but I couldn't quite finish them on time. Pity. :'(

Erm...I used a fine detail brush. Let me see the number....ah...it reads "2/0" on my brush. No idea what that means but its quite fine. Then, just dip the tip of you brush into a little Skull White and try to stablise your hand. Then paint on the line first. I found that it is good to rest your hand and the model on the table surface first before attempting to paint on the stripes. Makes your hand more stable. During painting, if any of the lines are painted wrongly, you can always touch up or totally cover it back up with the base colour.
