Default Inquisitor Hellghast IMAGE HEAVYISH

My first Inquisitor scale model is done. Unfortunetly, the pics don't do him real justice, he looks much better in real life.

He looks extremly cool.

As for the painting, it gets better in time. For now, he's really cool.

A model is never finished until it is properly based. Honestly, it's so easy to do and improves the overall look of the model so much...

Too many people here spend hours painting a model and refuse to spend five minutes basing it! It can be such a let down to even the best model.

If you can paint to this standard, then basing should be a walk in the park to you. As long as you can drybrush, then you've got no problem. Even if you can't, just buy some sand and loose gravel from you local modelling store and give him an urban base. It's a nice start, certainly, but you're really shooting yourself in the foot if you don't base him.

all in all, i beleive that he is just too bright for 40k. He looks sort of out of place in the 40k gothicness of the universe.

try inking the metal with some black ink, then some chestnut ink on the gold and skin, and finally some brown or dark brown ink on the coat. htis will make the model look so much more bad-ass than it is now.

P.S. I do love inks

P.S What is the difference between Inq scale and 40k. Model comparison please.

Great job converting him General_Darkari. I really like the idea for it, but his face is a little bland. Excellent job on the rest of him though.
