Default try again... test daemonette

Well, ive been wanting to put something onto thi site for a while. Only problem is, is that most of my models are either missing or in bits. Or both. So, i decided to put a trial daemonette up for your viewing pleasure. bear in mind that i don't want to be spending 24 hours on a single model, its just table top quality.

Oh, and in case you where wondering, I need a new ink for these models. Watered down blood red just doesn't give me the qualiy that i need. Any suggestions?

And whoever gave me hints and tips on the tyranid forum (i think it was phage), id like to say im sorry but im going over to these creatures. Your advice has been saved for later use, either by me or by a friend.

Im also going to try and create a step-by-step if anyones interested, and I can get what i want to do right

EDIT: Jesus! I really need some decent inks! Those pics are a little too close for me! they look fine on the table top!

EDIT 2: Could anybody give me any hints and tips with your gripes? thanks

EDIT 3: posted in the wrong forum, seems painted minis doesn't belong in the painting bit ??? rules are rules i suppose

It looks ok. The red looks good however it could use a few touch ups.Good job overall.

Try either red ink, dark red ink, watered down scab red or red gore. Magenta ink with a little black ink mixed in should also work.

But it looks very daemonic.

yeah, table top quality though? anyways, these cameras are close up don't forget, and they show a HUGE amount of imperfections

I'd say, yeah, it will look damn good on the table. If it helps, I can't paint great, but I can make 'em look good on table, and that is what matters. It looks definately demonic, and I think you'd have better luck with Red Ink as said. Skin is good, how did you get that alabastor look? White for me always turns out terrible, so now I don't bother.

seems that when people go to show off their minis, they don't put them in the area labelled showcase :

Why do you use chaos balck as an undercoat? is this just for one area? as having black, 50/50 black and white, then white on top does fine for samll areas i find
