Wolf Guard Battle leader Berek StormHammer is finished.

I'm pretty happy with all the little touches, like the granite/concrete hammer, the handed painted grain on the wooden shaft, the freehand icons etc. Turned out ok in the end.

Wow! I love it!

Its got a very nice feel... just by the pose and conversion, it SCREAMS Space Wolf.

By the way, what colors did you use for the Wood Grain?

Love the wood grain, it looks great! The shield and hammer are a bizarre thing to see attached to a Space Marine (the non-powered versions)...but I think it actually works with a Space Wolf. Nice one.

obviously a wooden shield isn't gong to help a 3+ armour sv marine.

However it has a more imporant role as a sacred relic. Space wolves are all for tradtion and artifacts. Doesn't have an effect in game terms, i just like it because it reinforces the whole space wolf viking feel.

I mean if i was to be picky, would a broom handle really support a piece of 2ft long granite?

Thank god this hobby is'nt real and we don't take it all too serious

j/k I love the running pose conversion. I'm more of a metal weaponry guy but it's great work on the wooden shield and granite hammer.

I really like how this model looks. Everything is juuuust right, from the shading to the highlights to the details to the model pose. I especially like the wood effect and the glow effect on the plasma pistol.
