Default Tau Dreadnought

After reading some fluff created by a buddy and

some thoughts of my own it sort of goes like this.

After a* great warrior

of Tau was wounded* the only way to keep him alive was to seal him into his suit to

provide life support from the suit.
Thus createing a Tau Dreadnought.

I

decided to create that suit.
He is a Special Character and has the abilty of

chooseing 3 hardpoints of weapons each turn.
Much like the Obliterators he can

choose different weapons each turn.
He has some pretty special rules.

Here you go.

front with Guardsman size scale

back showing life support and

power supply cells etc.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this one as always.

I used the Crisis suits chest and the

legs and then I took some Robotech Armored Valkyrie (one of my favorte models and anime

movies) to add to his legs and arms.
I used a 1/175th scale Robotech Armored super

Valkyrie.

On my Commander with wings that was the same but in a 1/200th scale

so not as big as this guy.

I then used the Landraiders gun cover as the chest

plate and fire warrior pads as his shoulder pads and the Robotech robots head as his and

the tool bags because being sealed up I figured he would need things to work on him or

specific to him things.
So Ethereals after battle would be able to work on things

and get his stuff out of this bags to fix him.

I shortened the Rail Guns and

cut them down. So he can move and shoot them but at a shorter distance.
Thats about

it really.

Glad you liked it.
Oh and the blue is so you can tell hes a

special character and only 1 per any army.

Thanks,
Greydeath.

Mind that near death/put in machine idea

has been done before a couple of times (Space Marine Dreadnoughts) with variations (the

Eldar Wraithlord actually does have a dead person inside so to speak lol). <br /

>Still nice model though

Oh your totally right.

I

thought that the Tau should have one because everyone else sort of does to.
But with

Tau there would have to be a catch.
Kind of like when Iron Man fromt he comics had

to stay in his suit to survive or he would die?

Well thats the same

thing here. The Warrior was so good and such a great fighter he was sealed into his suit

so the lifesupport would keep him alive.
But the only problem is they have no way to

remove him from it or he will die.

I know its been done thats why I did it, I

thought it would be acceptable because its been done.
So see you are right

FarseerTyross.
But that makes it totally ok with me.

And thanks.
