I just bought a Digital Camara today, So I thought let's try it out. The pictures can be of better quality
but I am just learning how it all works. ![]() So tell me what you think of them. Please don't say anything about the basing, I am changing the bases of my models because I am not happy with these bases. And I also need to paint the eyes of the helmetless FW. |

They look dusty, like they have been running around for a while -neat effect!
You probably have the camera set to save in 640x480 (vga) which is not a bad idea, but it leaves the pic that size here as well... I usually run my pics through ms paint and cut out just the part I want to publish, seems to work good with the board here. Not to mention it cut the kb's down a Lot (from 160kb to 30-something...)

they look a bit plain right now, but that can easilly and quickly be fixed:
I would suggest drybrushing their clothes (not the armor) in a lighter color and black inking them to define the lines and creases alot more. I would also suggest inking the armour and highlighting it, as well as painting the Tau emblem on the shoulder pad to make it more visible. For the helmetless Tau, I suggest drybrushing his head as well to give it more contrast and make it appear mor lifelike All of this shouldn't take too long and makes a real difference... Good painting, ~PrdiG

they look good, the pics are a little small to make out all the details though. The Tau symbols on their sholders could do with something to make them stand out more, perhaps painting the lines in them white? Not that hard to do and you don't have to be too careful as you can go back and touch up the mistakes with black.

hey personally I really like them. But for the helmet less one put some black onto the eyes and mouth and nose-thingy. really makes them look better.

Everyone Thanks for their comments. I painted those Firewarriors more than a year ago.
Like I already said I still needed to paint the helmetless model. I agree with painting the symbol on their shoulder. |
