ok,was awhile since i uppdated the other thread,so i post thoose in a new thread,here i will post all future Tau models from my hunter cadre.

Yau'Ta sept have controll of a system of snowy planets,an outpost world that are in the outer ridge of the tau empire.the sept have evolved their technology for this inviroment,the use of walkers are wery common,they invented both types of Calimari walkers aswell as the Squid scout walkers.the ethereals have as honor to wear a helmet,though it includes no technology,the first way they did this was as protection against the common Blizzards of this world.they did first evolve this world in piece,until they step upon a terrible truth,a threat from within.a few of the planets in this system contained necron activity, one world is lost to the necrons so far,a few worlds are in constant battle,but still most worlds are in Tau controll.commander Shas'O Ta'Sedar have to fight the highly feared Necron Lord Grevus, so this Tau sept are always in struggle with the necrons so theres only war!

that was an intruduction to my sept,now on with my pics of Pathfinders and krootox,thats the tau models i got on x-mas











notes on differences from my colour sheme: pathfinders got grey-based camo on their cloth,my fire warriors is only black.thats to give more attention to the pathfinders and their role on the battlefield.the shield drone got camo too,to match the squad its added to

this may been my last pics shown for like 2 weeks,since im goin to my gf's place over my x-mas holiday,im leaving tomarrow.i may still log on a few times on her computer,but not able to show pics.im gonna play against imperial fists with my tau there against her brother,and im gonna buy necrons

I felt that the Pathfinders could be a bit smoother, however.

they look a little more feral and rough than most tau. is that how you meant them to be?

i think it looks a bit overdrybrushed and a bit rough. i think you should consider painting the kroot differently, they are'nt usually the same colour as the tau sept.

Yeah, to much drybrushing if I must say so myself( no offense, clour and everything is good). But the kroot's colour could remain the same.

Next time, you could drybrush them less. That will do the trick.

Heh, Does the pathfinder shas'ui have "Shoot here" writing on his helmet? :P Couse If someone is hiding in snow with white camo suit and red helmet, he can as well spare his enemies problems and shoot himself in the head :P
