whats up donkeys, i just got my Tau all assembled, and screwed around with some paintschemes. I did these models in like, 10 minutes each(probably not even) and yes, they are sloppy and need to be touched up. But everyone likes looking at models so i figured i'd throw them up on here.

dont look too bad, but the drybrushing is helluva messy,

for doing edges try dipping youre brush in the paint, removing most of it, then using the side of the brush, run it along the edges you wish to highlight.

yeah, i mean clearly they are horrible. i didnt even want to post them here, just in the Tau forum for a few poeple that told me to when i got some painted. But mods for whatever reason like to hassle me so i know id get the 'belongs _________ no here' stuff.

The highlight(bleached bone) is real bad(especially on his shoulder pad. I basically just threw him in there because i like his stance/set up. Not really the paint. But like i said i woulda got hassled for putting the pic elsewhere, im definatley not 'showcasing' it lol :-\

no matter, we don't only accept work that ppl think is "l33t". you got something to share, you're welcome (and encouraged) to put it up . and good on you for working up the courage to post something that you think isn't great work. i'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff up here

haha thanks guys, meh, im pretty pessimistic(sp?) when it comes to crap i know i suck at, haha. The dice were just for something stupid to throw in the mix, spice of the shot a little bit, lord knows i never acually get 6's when i play! > ;D I guess they arent THAT bad for a basically first-timer. When i decide on my final scheme and get a few models painted(hopefully ill take my time on them and all) and put them up here. Like i said i didnt reall think they belonged in 'showcase' since ive seen the caliber of stuff in here(bloodied, that deamonhunter special character was sick) but i know that if some of you guys are like me, you just like looking at warhammer models in general, so i figured what the heck O0. After i get these guys squared away at 1000points, im going to start collecting necrons or something else, and ill be posting plenty pics up here after that. As well as pics to go along with battle reports when me and my friend finally start playing with our armies.

don't look at the calibre of other people's work . generally, its the fruition of many hours of practice at painting. i mean, look at it to go "wow, that looks cool", but don't go "wow, that's way better than my stuff. my stuff must suck"...especially cos no matter how good you are, there's always someone better

that one tau has a lot 2 carry no? carbine, rifle, drone controller,bonding knife.lol j/k
it preyy good clean up the highlights a lil and that will improv the models big time, it's worth the effort.
