Anybody interested in a WW1 period adaption of Axis and Allies. Many of you will remember Crazed Mongoose's Middle East: Conflict series, which I personally thought was great and successful. Anyway I have been working on rules to adapt it to a number of other periods, one of which was WW1. I've drawn up a preliminary map (not including sea zones). I'm also going to post a few thoughts i have had on rules and units, which i want you to take a look at and comment on.
Map: As I said this doesn't include sea zones, which I have some thoughts on. Overall it's 82 territories, each have names which I haven't put into the map yet. Playable factions include Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Austria-Hungary, Russia, Italy and Ottoman Empire. White are NPC's and the red dashes are land bridges. The map is based on a map of Europe 1900. The game would last until 1920, for 20 turns. I worked out a scoring system for the 2nd ME: Conflict game, which when the 20 turns are over will reveal the winner.
