... This sounds really interesting, is it too late to join?

and is it alright if I don't know all that much about the space marines? like ranks and such? I know that their ribs are fused and that they can breathe water, survive in a vaccum for a short time, and spit acid. But that's about it.

I don't think it's too late. they can't breath water though.

Alright, thanks. I'm liking the combi plasmagun, and it looks like the white scars chapter would be cool, but I have to ask, can I also have a combat shield? Or would that be cheesy?

I have a "combat shield"

white scars would be cool but you couldn't have a bike

I could still have the "get the hell out of there" attitude. That's really what I'm going for.

Apothecary, Librarian, Chaplains, Techmarines. Ya, they are inducted intio the Death Watch too But I choose to take a heavy weapon because the team seems to be lacking dakka

Yeah, I was thinking of changing my guys weapons from a bolt pistol and chainsword, but it seems too emerors champion. Of course if he goes berserk, its not like he'll use anything that isn't rea;;y attached to his hand...

here's the weird thing. I admit it's sounds like deathwatch but I haven't seen anything the GM posted say anything about deathwatch.

also he did say we could only choose scout, tactical, assault(with jump packs), and devastators

no techmarines, apothecaries, chaplains, librarians etc.(though if you talked to the GM and he said yes then go for it)
