Huh, interesting. We've always played them as Melta Bombs, not 2D6 base bombs.

Although there was a part in a FAQ about the ork nades, which said weapons never get bonus dice against the lith.

But you can also say, Marines, bulky, heavy armour, move 6".

Eldar, who can move fast enough to walk on water, only get 6", plus a D6 if they don't shoot.

Don't look at movement, everyone moves...

Gauss Enhancer. Improves the gauss effect rule by 1 on all units within 6"(12"?).

Or, have the monolith with a inbuilt Gauss Enhancer.

Before I got bored of my tau, the only army that was ever a challenge to me was necrons. They were just a pain, all the opponent had to do was keep with the 4+'s, and he was fine.

I don't know - theres been some great ideas thrown around in the past, some like make them physically weak T2, but 2+ save. Problem is, they need to be tough, so T4 is right. Then, BS and WS 3, S3,...
