Default my w.i.p death guard blog(new pics 28/9)

it was mentioned to me that i should start a blog for my death gurad mini's so here it is wth my first installment

my death guard sorcerer

started greenstuffing him late last night then started to paint him this morning once the green stuff had cured still loads to do on him like the robes which i cant decide wether to do black or scab red,let me know wat you think please his base is still not finished but i think it suits the theme

hey,
so far i like him.The armour looks great as do the boil/poxes/nurgle things.As for the base i think maybe it would be more effective if the rock was in frony of the sorceror,because when i saw the front view pics i couldn't notice anything different about the base!
Also i vote a nice deep redd for the robes,although that might just be my love for red robes on models and also it might clash with the green!A lot of help i am!

little update have decided to do the robes an off white colour with a final highlight of white will post pics up later once i have finished the robes

Greenstuff looks good, as does the paint job so far. This should look great when it's done!

hey,
bitten by the nurgle bug,i know how that feels!
As for the robes you said an off-white so why not try bleached bone as a base?Looking forward to more pics so don't let me down! ;D

as promised some updated pics of wat i have done to him so far,have still got too dirty the robes up and finish his staff and plasma pistol which im doing tonight letme know wat you think please*sorry bout the dark pics was getting dark out when i took them*

little update on my death guard have took a break from painting for a few hrs and have started on my predator,i have so far drilled alot of holes onto it and greenstuffed some pustules,nurgle symbols and my interprataition of nurgles rot ,i have also decided not too add tentacles to any of my models as i feel this isnt a true nurgle theme as nurgle are supposed too be dissease ridden not mutated
