Piling up the Calories (An Ogre Kingdoms blog of immersive porpotions)
Heya,
This blog is dedicated to the fattest army in Warhammer Fantasy. Being a big fan of Ogres and the chance(excuse) to paint big models. I recently purchased the Ogre Kingdoms Batallion plus a few other extra metal models. Here are the few Ogres that are recently painted, apart from the Ironguts which I did months ago. Skrag the Slaughterer  Brrr.. the meat pot where he cooks his fine cuisines.  b]Gorbash Giantbreaker, the Bane of Sky Titans.[/b]  Ogre Ironguts  And I recently painted some Gnoblars and a Butcher Gnoblars Wanted to give these gnoblars a leader so I added the gnoblar with the huge club from the Bulls sprue.  Butcher And the Butcher, the fattest and most disgusting of the lot, that is until Greasus Goldtooth arrives.  That's about it, more obese pics coming soon.

The blood spatter on the butcher's clothes is great, what colours did you use and how'd you get the effect?

I use a mix of Blood Red, Red Gore and Scorched Brown for the splatter effect. I use an old toothbrush for the splatter effects. Quote:

I love the skin color, it looks so...ogre-ey. The blood effects are very well done.

 Jokes aside, I think you have done a great job with the Ogres.  Are these commission work? I noticed you have been doing Warhammer Fantasy miniatures for some time now. What happened to your Orks from the grim future where there is only war? ???

Yeah I really love Warhammer Fantasy now as you get more models, very fun gaming and you feel 'powerful' when you see a big block plastic figures all bunched together duking it out.
Actually for Orks I'm waiting for the new Codex and models to come out. But it looks like Chaos is first.  Quote:
