Alright I have some metal models. My problem is when I put them in my case they jingle around on the way home and the paint chips off. I was wondering if there was a souloution to my problem rather that repainting the chipped out spots. Maybe if GW has some sort of Spray protective coat or something? I am not afraid to spend money as long as it doesn't exede $15 US dollars becuase if it cost more i rather my models chip. Also I don't want them to become shiny when I finish this. A small amount of shine os OK but when they create a small glare is a problem.
Thanks. |

Well, you could just varnish them all...Or get some foam inserts for your case.

Jeez man, Y-E-S. Read above posts ;D.
It's called 'Ardcoat, and doesn't make the stuff too shiny, gives it more of a silky sheen. Also, it protects from those nasty scratchies! |

What i do, is i put 2 sealants on it. The glossy stuff generally works better, and the matte stuff looks better. So i make it glossy, and then cover it in matte sealant, and it works pretty good

What you got a problem with my name? ;D
And I would use foam insersts but there are a few problems. 1) I put my models in a tool box 2) don't have any foam 3) all my models fit perfectly into my box so foam would change that. making that option a no |
