Default The 5 Champions of Chaos

This the time of the year where I decide to do some Chaos. What better to do than the most exalted with the Chaos Gods.

So far I have completed the Nurgle Champion.

Here are the Slaanesh and Undivided one.

Khorne and Tzeentch will be coming soon.

Wow... Just... Yeah.

Beautiful work. Your blending technique seems to be getting better and better.

Lovely painting mate, its going to be Chaotic Christmas for you then :P

My only gripe is that the champions dont seem to hold any allegiance to their particular god. The two unpainted champions - I cant tell which ones belongs to slaanesh and which one is undivided. (same with the nurgle one if you take away the green paint scheme).
What might be cool is to convert them to be more aligned to each god - Like Khorne has a massive axe, a bulls head, nurgle has a scythe and rotting flesh, slaanesh has a whip and boooobs!, tzeench has a bladed sorcerous staff and a birds feet/head or something?
just as suggestion
Nice job so far though.

Nice points Thantos, I am adding banners and shoulder pads to represent their gods.

I had fun assembling the Tzeentch champion. Will be posting it soon.

Nooby question. Who is Malal? I'm unfamiliar with Chaos, haven't read the Codex.

As for the colors used for the armor. It's a new blend of colors I used based on Confrontation miniatures.

1)Basecoat of Catachan Green + Chaos Black
2)Work up the color to Catachan Green
3)A light coat of Catachan Green + Camo Green
4)A wash of Scorched Brown + Bestial Brown
5)Touch up with Camo Green
6)A light drybrush of Camo Green + Bleached Bone
7)A final highlight of Bleached Bone at the armor edges.

malal, is the god of chaos tendensy of self destruction. some consider him the 5th chaos god .those of the legions back in the horus heresy didn't join the emporer or horus but found a new god, malal. they would become the sons of malice. in they aren't particularly nasty or righteous but they are cannibals. malal's caught has blind and deafened keeper of secrets and plucked and caged lords of change. the torches are fueled by immortal nurglings while above his throne is a great blood thirster, pinned and impales by spikes driven into the wall. GW ditched him longway back

Well he said "Here are the Slaanesh and Undivided one." but I got the feeling that the Slaanesh one was the one on the right. It looks more Slaaneshi. Thantos raises a good point though, you could make them more distinctive - admittedly the Nurgle one has the banner of Nurgle (big clue) and I for one find that head more Nurglitch than Slaaneshi or Khornate (though if the colours were different it can be very Tzeentchian too), but perhaps some boils would have been appropriate?

Crikey! This crazy clown causes commotion like the coming of Christ. Contained in a circle corrupted by crackheads and carnal cravings, he creates no concession to callous cheaters concentrating on nought but cock. Certainly, still a curious and cordial cavalier in the countenance of crazed cads, curs and creeps who condemn courtesy as something corny. No cloud could collapse his crushing crescendo of comical crowing and crimson coiffure. This conjecture on culture comes circumlocutive, consequently...

You may call me Circus.
