Default New Metallic Colors - Please help on perfecting

I recently came across an unorthodox way of creating metallic paint when one of my friends accidentally spilled some graphite lube in my enchanted blue paint. at first I was pissed but then I thought that it might work out since I wanted the little ball things on my Tau weapons blue anyway. However, the graphite did not show up very well... you can see it in some parts but others are still normal blue. My question would be this:
Has anyone ever used a similar technique? If not, then could you help me perfect it? maybe try mixing it with water or some other liquid and relaying the results to me.

If anyone wants to help me please do and I hope this can be perfected.

i dont know what graphite lube is, but if its what i think it is i might have an answer. i used to paint with enamel paint, and the metallic colors had really small shiny stuff to make it metallic, if you didnt get a good amount of them on your brush you were out of luck because then it wouldnt be metallic

just mix a small amount of mitheral silver to most GW colours and you get a metalic\ version of it.

Get blue ink if you can.

Drybrush boltgun metal on the area, or paint it on.

Drybrush lightly tin bitz.

Once you do that, use blue ink over the area. lightly put it on, dont let it pool, and use a second layer if needed.

Comes out beautifully, trust me.
