Default WIP Standard Bearer

Here's my WIP standard bearer for the Ellixian 127th. The banner and the arm holding it is still incomplete.
This is also the first time I've ever done the gradient white to blue on my pictures, so bear with it.

Thanks.

C&C welcome. ;D

The red is simply Scab red highlighted by a progressive build up of blood red, and the cloth is scorched brown highlighted by a very watered down vomit brown and bronzed flesh.

The "paper' is actually edited in photoshop.

Really nice! I like the contrast of colours. Is your whole army like this?

Mayhaps it's me crappy monitor, but the Gradient background/overlay work is sapping the colors away from the mini.

It's looks real good, but its hard to see the red paint details, because the blue color tones are SO over driven..

LOL, how's that for C&C?

Note: if I cut a hole in a piece of paper and cover the background, it looks great..

Great job!
Although the gradient seems to be white to green instead of blue :P

The model looks great mate, i hope your banner matches in quality. The gradient background creates a contrast with the mini, and that results in the mini looking darker and a bit...'drained'.

Yeah, this is the first time with the background - so hopefully the next pictures I post are better edited.

Did you actually do that?

I think I chose a bad hue of blue in photoshop.

Sorry for the double post, but here's a bit of an update. The company standard - still WIP.

I tried a different colour background to make the red show up.

Zoomed in a bit...hmm...weird...
