I want to paint my new Tau force in a Jungle/Forst/Swamp camo but I'm having trouble finding tips or examples, some help would be greatly appreciated.
![]() So far I've found these, but none were that great tbh: http://us.games-workshop.com/games/4...mo/default.htm http://us.games-workshop.com/games/4...camouflage.htm I guess I could do my camo like thi but using different colours.... http://us.games-workshop.com/games/4...au_army_1b.htm

I'm working on some converted Path finders and what I did was paint the fatigues in a camo pattern (catachan green base and then a mix of catachan and camo green with dark flesh marks for the camo) and painted the armor straight catachan.
Those colors would be great for jungle, forest, or swamp you could also add in some of the other greens or even rotting flesh as well for a more swam feel.

Sounds good, although I may have to use more browns.
Since my local hobby store stopped selling GW stuff I have to make a three hour round trip to go to GW in Oxford, and Im not doing that for a couple of paints. I have Goblin Green, Scorched Earth, Chaos Black and Bleached Bone for my earthy tones.

do you have any other paints? and you could try mixing the colors you have like the green and the brown or with the bleach bone to get different shades.

I have loads of other colours, but not really suitable for jungle camo (although I suppose I could incorporate reds).
I've been testing schemes on paper, I'll try to MSPaint 'em. ![]() [Edit] These are the three I've come up with so far. The third looks best on paper, though not in paint lol. I really do need another shade of green. I suppose I could just mix it with some Chaos Black...

judging the Dutch and Belgian jungle camou they use two or three shades of green with black and brown spots (the brown ones being larger than the blacks)

I've painted a Pathfinder with this scheme on his armour and bestial brown legs/material. I'll get pictures up as soon as I find my camera. :P
Fortunately my mum happened to be going to Oxford today and she brought back some paints for me: Camo Green Dark Angels Green Catachan Green

Your mum is swell you think she'll buy me some paint too
![]() As for the camo scheme I'll still stick by my camo catachan green mix with dark flesh patches but you could sub any darker browns you may already have and heck even add in some other like the bleach bone
