The paint is too thick. I know this is kind of the standard answer that everyone will give when they have nothing else to say, but it really is too thick. You can barely see the ridges on the plume and alot of the armor detail is lost.

As far as the color choices go, I'm not a fan of brown as a major color but if that's what you want I suggest you do a thin coat of graveyard earth first, then ink with a brown ink or watered down scorched brown. Re-highlight with graveyard earth and a final highlight of bleached bone. I want bother with more complicted techniques right now because I think the basics should be learned first.

It appears you've drybrushed the the armor which I don't advise for Eldar. You need to try highlights on the armor. If you like I can point you in the direction of some great beginners tutorials.

Lastly, base the model. Even something plain and simple.

Hopefully this isn't too harsh of a constructive criticism. Keep at it and you'll be putting out some great models in no time.

Thanx for the response... Ok, well I do base them with white, and the new one im doing is watered down to the point where it goes into the detail and it looks nice... I thought the paint was to thick but when I realized, it was to late...

Perhaps the use of India Ink or GW Black Ink would help draw out more details, the use of white primer was a bit too thick, you just need to "Dust" it white, not soak it white.

You have a blue splotch on the helmet, and you could stand another pass at the gems too.

I am not familiar with these colors for this army, and when I get my Eldar Dire Avengers, you can come along and rip mine apart to!

Though I am painting mine as the box, but none the less some of these Eldar "troops" are really Blah for details.

Keep at it, though

Execution of all things gave you some good advice. For thinning your paints I usually use a 2:1 paint:water ratio (although I definitely approximate) and it brings pretty good results.
