Default Removing paint off of something NEW...?

Well, there are some who want to remove paint off of metal, an some plastic. Well here is a paint removing question that I dont think has come up yet, or at least not that I know.

I have a Forge World Lightning, a model that I love using in games, love the look of it, I had it for about...maby 4 years now an I allways hated the paint job on it, looks horrible. I tryed painting over it but now you can see it how thick the paint is, you could tell it looks like it was painted several times.

Now does anyone know how to strip the paint off a risen model???

I uasilly use Simpley Green on all my metal an plastic when needed, but I know some things destroy the model when you use it. Or take the glue off an make the model fall apart. Does anyone know if Simpley Green will destroy the risen, or make the model fall apart in any way? Or does anyone have any other suggestion of taking the paint off it? As it is an expensive model I dont want to destroy it.

Thanks for the help guys...if you not sure that ok, Im sure there are not many people who tryed stripping paint off a risen model. Most models are metal an plastic.

I imagine that it'd be the same as a plastic mini.

I wouldn't use metal paint stripper immediatly.

have a try with a small piece of resin and see what you get.

I believe I've seen this topic somewhere else and I think they said that it worked basically the same way on resin as on plastic and metal.

stripping paint from plastic is different than from metal. very different.

the liquid you use on metal melts plastic, so you've got to be speaking of something different.
