I've been building this guy for a nearly a week, finished him the other day, and now, at last, he has had his first loving caress from a paintbrush.

Looks good form what I can see

It's hard to tell, as you know it's dark, i can't really comment the paintwork, but the conversion is really nice though. The weapons are good and all the additions make it look more Tech. One problem though, it looks to big too be stealthy, even though it has a cloaking-system, can you still see this one because it's so large. You know how cloaking looks, like in Predator, you can see through him, but when you do, the landscape behind looks perverted, in odd arcs, etc. etc. And so, large portions of the landscape will be odd-looking, and you can see him that way quite easily.

Mistah G: He's meant to be Stealthier, not really full stealth. I mean how could you hide something that size anyway :P. It's just to lower the chance that he gets detected until he gets close. Then his AFP's go BLAM and it's too late for the bad guys even if they do see him.

my question is were do you make the cuts to remove the thrusters?

It was inspired by Tael's, but my ethos was to use ONLY Tau bitz.

Unfortunately I don't have another Jetpack to show you where the cuts are made, but I'll try to explain it in words. (Or Ascii art)

An un-assembled jetpack, looks like this (sort of) from behind

Glue the two thruster sections together (front and back), trim so they fit snugly beside each other, et voila.

Much thanks Zero, after painting 3 crisis suits the 4th one thats in the battle force box I'm wanting to be a bit different so I've been thinking on what to do and you and Tael's work is highly inspiring

Yes, the painting is a bit untidy at this point, but it'll be fixed later on. This stage is just for getting the right colour in mostly the right place.
