Default H'mmm

Well, At the Games Workshop they said that they will give me lessons on how to paint correctly.
I probably will do them because I really Suck.

Just asking has any one ever done it and did it improve them alot ?

I think the games workshop painting lessons just teach you to get the basic colours on for a tabletop paintjob and possibly also teach you highlighting and shading but I'm not sure I've never had them.

Dark Vault Games for quality service at a minimum discount of 10% off GW prices. Free Delivery on orders over 50! Great Service , I highly recommend them.

I was never "taught" how to paint models. I think the main problem was that my pride got in the way. I learned how to paint models correctly by myself. And I have the scars to prove it! I have an old trunk full of badly painted models, and I'm missing almost a hundred dollars from them! But now I paint really well. ^_^

If I were you I'd go to GW and get help from them. Most GW people can paint really well, and you don't want to end up with a trunk of badly painted models.

I learned from someone who'd been painting just a bit longer than me, and I never had too much trouble... the only new concept was starting with a basecoat. After that, patience and a steady hand took over (somehow, I demonstrate neither of these when I'm typing and suffering from lag).

I went to a games shop one time and learned about drybrushing.

The rest Ive learned from internet.
Post youre mini's ask for help and read tutorials. I would say I can paint really decent. If you want proof I can even show you a picture ;D ^-^ ( just kidding )

But I'm sure a lot of painters would say they just learn from the internet. Of course you can still take that class if you want, I'm just saying that if they teach you the basics there ask around on the internet.

One staff member really helped me out when I first started teaching me highlighting very well. After that I just read everything off the internet.
