;s worth it for what you get? I'm looking at buying it sometime but I'm

thinking that maybe £120 is a bit steep! What do you think?

Definetly not

worth it. You never use most of the paints, and thats why I preferred the old starter

sets (before they replaced them with these rubbish new ones with 4ml pots) that had the

Old-Style marines in them, and 9 colours that you often used, and so i just bought one of

them occasioanlly to replenish stocks of colours.. Now they have oen with colours i wont

use:

and ones with rubbbish paints: which annoyes me as the use

hmm the massive

one would prolly only be good if ur painting like sum big multi color diorama or smt.. mb

like a scene from fire warrior... i dunno, apart from that, you wont have much use for

most of the paints, unless ur painting like heaps of models for show or as examples... of

smt from each race..

but yeh if its worth it its good, but its a waste if ur

not gonna use all the colors..

the mega paint

set was a great deal for me it cost me 165 canadian on ebay still in shrink wrap witht

the new flip tops it goes normally for 320$ in my local GW store

IMO its far

better to just buy paint as you need it...saves a lot of hassle and storage...besides,

how often will you use hawk turqoise?? or jade green?? fiery orange??

i actually have a

pot of jade green...can&#39;t remember why, though...but really, there are so many GW

colours that are subjective ie you need to know why you need them before you even

consider tham worthwhile...just get the basics, plus the shades and highlights for them,

and expand from there (moving on from my original advice)

It would be better

that they sold a set or some sort of multi-buy offer on their paints spend 60 quid and

you get somethink like 60 pots of paint of your choice. Where I live, in the UK, they are

1.75 a piece.
