Hi guys, finally got myself a fully assembled (albeit half-painted) 2000pt Eldar fleet!* 8)
As BFG really has been on the back burner for well over a year this is quite an achievement for me. :P The list is short of a couple of light cruisers (courtesy of Forgeworld) - namely the Aurora and Solaris class, but otherwise the list is pretty much complete for the forseeable future. I've attatched a sheet that I put together for use during games. It contains the whole list, Eldar special rules and ship stats so I don't have to search through the rulebook too much while playing. I couldn't fit the ship names on there though, so here they are (they are all written in the Eldar language, anyone with the Eldar dictionary could figure out the meanings if they had enough time to kill!): Pirate Prince Yurrath's Xunsunh Corsairs Flagship - Void Stalker Class Battleship - "Khal Harai" Pirate Prince Yurrath Hellebore Class Frigate Squadron x4 - "AtBrylidassian" Eclipse Class Cruiser - "Ialla-Losseainn" Eclipse Class Cruiser - "Ishill Tainn" Nightshade Class Destroyer Squadron x3 - "Meokan" Nightshade Class Destroyer Squadron x3 - "Fiallathandirel" Shadow Class Cruiser - "Lann Baruth" Shadow Class Cruiser - "Raiph Brathu-angau" Hemlock Class Destroyer Squadron x3 - "Bahn Kiest" [Edit] Won't let me upload .doc files - will try a screenprint or some other program. Very nice fleet. I'm partial to the Acronites myself (Firepower 25 hurts!), but it looks solid to me. Glad to see you succame to the Void Stalker! ;D

Heh, I was waiting for you too find this (Although you should have seen it on BF-F as a G-Mod :P ).
Acronites? Lol, you mean Aconite Class yeah? They are nice, and I will probably end up including them at some point, but as the fleet is currently quite small I thought I'd stick with the more versatile Hellebore Class. And yes, the lure of the Void Stalker was too great to resist (even at £15!), the model is beautiful. Should be getting some pics up on Battlefleet Fury within the next month!

Just a comment or two (well, four):
*Forget about the Solaris - for what it does, it's not worth it (not keen on the model design, either). *Instead, focus on those lovely Aurora CLs! (They are great, two pulsars and four torps, on a cruiser which can match an escort in performance. Worth every [insert lowest relvant monetary denomination here]!) *Aconites would be good to remember - in case you run into those annoying Necrons (and always go in with lances first, then WBs, when fighting Necron ships - try to force your opponent to brace! Once he's braced, pelt him with as much WB fire/torps/bombers as you can, and remember that he loses the use of his fancier weapons systems, and special orders, while braced.) *Get out there, and give the mon-keigh a smacking - but watch out for the metal slaves of the Yngir... I remembered that I actually was going for two Aurora's (already named Fir Dinillainn, as I was eager to get them at the time!), if you look in this thread here, it was my original intention, I just forgot. ![]() Fortuntely for me, I only face a single Imperial Fleet belonging to my mate, so I need not worry about silver tombs yet! But I will still bear the Aconites in mind. Which would you suggest I get next then, some Aconites...or a couple of Auroras? I also like the look of the Wraith ships, but I think that will be a seperate fleet.

If we solely consider the Tombship, there isn't much in it...
6s to hit and a 4+ save is the same as 4s to hit and a 2+ save as far as I can tell. However, Lances always hit on 4s... meaning you want to pelt him with Lances first. He'll almost certainly panic at losing that good save, and brace (I did it to a Necron player with a Tau fleet... and hammered him because of it). Necrons are the only fleet where you go in Lance-first.
