Default Runescape

I know...it's silly, free and browser based, but I got into playing it a bit again(used to play way back in classic days).

Random stuff in case anyone else plays, and wants to screw around.

I'm surprised that game is stil around considering the number of FTP MMO's out there with much better graphics and features and stuiff.

There used to be an entire sub-board for TO's Runescape clan. Seems that it's gone, too (but given it's magnetism for dumb users and flame-wars, no great shame).

my old character firetime123. I gave it to a buddy after years of playing it, he blabbed the pw and now I see it on youtube. :

managed to get him to 60 mining, and 52 smithing. It was awesome I could make steel plates, hell I would make runs for money. I like classic more then anything. I remember the power mining sessions with the copper. Would pop in music and let my sister do the mining. (2gp a copper lmao, best deal in the world) she would lose count after a bit, so I always came out a head. >

Would make replacement armor for her friends though. I could also cut emeralds, rubies, and saphires, and I seriously had a nerdgasm when I got my diamond amulet

Heh, I used to play classic way back in the day...had great stats too. But not playing for like four years results in forgetting pw and username.

Eh, working my way back up. I think the attractiveness is that its relatively easy to pick up and play. It's not terribly hard to learn, and the no-install aspect is handy. Graphics are a bit better now as well.

Hey Pepsi, if you recall the recovery questions, you can probably get that char back. If not...heck, if you've done it once, you can do it again. Theres that one quest that gives like 12 levels of smithing, too. =)

Thought I would save myself the grind. (I made the character in the 8th grade) almost 21 now, and couldnt care really. The graphics put me off, the classic was so cheesy, yet cool.

I stopped playing mmos altogether. I was always soloing... fun. Everquest was my favorite, but I lost touch after a while, and its hard to catch up without paying a chinese kid 50.00 to level up your character. Groups were hard to find for me at 66. So I just tested how far I could solo at a 1011 ac, 5200 hp shaman. I tell you, without the buffs its a pain in the D'yi. Though I managed to hold my own with Plane of tactics trash, when I use Quiescenance, and spirit of the leopard, copper hammer of striking combos.

oh yeah, slow works wonders btw, on top of cripple. oh yes, the spirit wolf and pet mafia is a big help to.

I too have dropped out the MMORPG scene... although I still play MMOs (well, Puzzle Pirates).

Puzzle Pirates is pretty fun. I gotta admit.
