Default Fallout MMO... Are You Ready?

Interplay is releasing a Fallout MMO and according to their contract it must be released before April of 2012. With about 8 months of development under their belt, I'm sure we won't hear any updates for quite a while but we can be certain it's being worked on.

I'm pretty excited for a good MMO that isn't based on swords and magic. Tabula Rasa tried that but lets face it, that game was horrible. Nothing but grind after grind in a different place. Not to mention NCSoft is not the best company and the games they come out with only cater to a small number of people who fear pvp content. Consentual pvp is like consentual sex. Purely overrated. (Just kidding, don't kill me carebears!)

*end rant*

I'm pretty confident that the creators of Fallout 1 & 2 (along with Bethesda watching over their shoulder) will make a game that picks up where the others left off and is just as full with life.

I doubt it. Do you have a link or something?

Bethesda has been pricks about anyone trying to get in on Fallout limelight. Take, for example, their treatment of the RPG makers. Utter rubbish.

Google it. It was part of the contract when they sold the IP to Bethesda. They were to retain the ability to make an MMO if they could start withing two years and be finished by four. They announced that they were gong to make it in April of 08 so the game has to be done by 2012

A Fallout 3 MMO would ruin the game with twits who don;t know a single thing about the actual story lines and fluff.

At least, that's what i foresee as I look over at other MMO's. But I digress...

Also, a Fallout 3 MMO would...break my computer into tiny, tiny, pieces.

I don't see people who don't know fluff as ruining the game. I'm sure in the Warcraft world people don't run around screamin "QQ nub" all the time. Same with Warhammer online. Just because someone doesn't care for the fluff doesn't mean it's not fun. When I played WoW I never gave a crap about story, I just liked to kill stuff.

Besides, that's why they make RP servers.

I will definitely require a new computer to run this game. It should come with a collector's edition. "Here's the game and a computer you can actually run it on!" :P

Well, we're going to have to wait another 3 and a half years to see if it's any good. Here's hoping :P

I don't think that we will see much for and MMO. They have already scheduled release of TES V for 2010.

The Elder Scrolls V.
If it is development, I won't be able to say how good it will be though. I have still not played the game yet. But I plan on getting it after I am done my exams.

TESV is in development - nothing concrete has been released as of yet, but expect a little something at the end of this year and a good review in 2010.
