Default ww2 confusin (historical models)

Now okay, so here's the deal, when i was a kid 2-3 years ago i used to model and paint ww2 historics into model setups, when warhammer came around i soon got out of this habit, however with my brother quitting warhammer temporarily i'm starting to reconsider, however there is some confusion on where i want my battle to take place and what the situation is, i'm open to almst anything as long as it involves germans and americans (possibly a second one with russians) and isn't to expensive, heres what i have so far.
Type Nationality Class
halftrack (german) - 1 sdkfz 251/1d (or 1c can't tell)
halftrack (german, scout)- (can't find the class but it's sdkfz)
halftrack (german, AA) - sdkfz 7/2 (i love this model)
Tank (german, TD) -marder III
mortar (german) -one mortar (i think it's an 81)
infantry (german) -bout 30 or so guys with random weapons
terrain (european) -farmhouse
terrain (european) -brick walls (poseable)
tree none -3 trees
Tank (russian) -t34
Tank (russian) -Kv2
jeep (russian) -no idea
infantry (russain) -12 guys with about 5 guns

Sorry, i got carried away, note that not everything has to be used and i'm tired of the russian front and wish to make one with americans. thanks in advance, me.

Probably make it some sort of German Blitz army, with the large number of halftracks and vehicles you have, with a scattered American force or something like that. I'd get a couple panzers and shermans, if you can afford em.

So what are you actually asking? What models you should get to reenact the Battle of the Bulge?

Well there are a lot of ideas you could use. (Not necessarily using the models you listed), but you could try Omaha Beach, that is something I would like to try making sometime. You could make a small part of a village or by a farm. If you are new to it (like I am) you could just do a simple field with just some small details like a tree, or a fence. Then just put the tank somewhere in the center of the scene. I am thinking of doing a small destroyed farmhouse that is being used for a German command post with a Tiger 1.

I think (since internet hobbies is having a sale) I'm going to stock up and get a lot of stuff (m12 german and american infantry things like that) and make a farmhouse scene since i have a farmhouse.

Not exactly, but there were some light/foreign (Captured French tanks, for example) which were built into the defences. Some captured tanks just had their turrets taken off and put into the Atlantic wall, while other tanks were turned into bunkers.

The main German Panzers were held in reserve, though, and didn't see action soon enough (Hilter was asleep, and they didn't want to wake him. And no, I'm not joking.)

I didn't mean that you would have to use a German tank as well. It was just an idea. If you are looking for a good series of models, the tamiya 1/48 series are great models. At least on my opinion.
